2nd KLH
CLT FACTORY

Two decades after pioneering the world's first cross-laminated timber facility in Katsch in 1999, KLH celebrated another milestone with the inauguration of its second production site in Bad St. Leonhard, Carinthia, Austria. Boasting an impressive annual output capacity of approximately 125,000 m3 of KLH® - CLT, this expansion represents a significant leap forward in KLH's commitment to innovation and sustainability in timber construction.

The incorporation of state-of-the-art production technology not only solidifies KLH's competitive edge but also elevates the overall efficiency of CLT manufacturing. Moreover, this expansion has catalysed a positive effect in the local economy, creating over 100 employment opportunities in the economically challenged Wolfsberg region.

Through strategic investments and a steadfast commitment to sustainability, KLH continues to shape the landscape of modern timber construction.
