Project Info
The Dounan Sports Center in Taiwan combines swimming, sport and leisure within a modern building complex. The new building replaces the former municipal swimming pool and was constructed using a structural framework of KLH® – CLT and glued spruce roof arches. The architecture draws on the characteristic greenhouse forms of the Yunlin region and reinterprets them in a contemporary way. In addition to its structural advantages, the timber also creates a pleasant atmosphere inside the building.
