Green Energy – Clear Future
The completion of a high-performance photovoltaic system in collaboration with KELAG Energie & Wärme GmbH marks a significant milestone in KLH’s corporate development. Over the past four months, approximately 4,200 PV modules with a module area of around 11,900 square meters have been installed at the Wiesenau site.
In addition to 17 modern inverters, 66 kilometers of cable were laid on the roofs of the production building. The system has a total weight of 110 tons, and 260 crane lifts were required for its installation. Since mid-May, up to 1,800 kilowatt peak power has been generated, which is almost entirely used in our own production plant for the manufacture of KLH® elements. By using sustainable solar energy, KLH® panels are produced even more environmentally friendly.
